Study in Ireland

About Ireland

Country in Europe, high quality universities.

Ireland is an island nation close to Great Britain in Europe. Known for its culture including music, drama and language, stable economy and possibilities of becoming a major centre of growth in Europe post-Brexit, it is one of the fastest-growing student destinations in the world. Colleges like Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin have hosted Indian students for centuries. Moreover, while maintaining a very high quality of education in English language, Irish universities also boast a much lesser fee compared to their American or British or Australian counterparts.
Apart from the fast-growing Information Technology and Financial Services sector, it is also known for its remarkable natural beauty and castles. Some must-visit places include Dunluce castle, Benbulbin, Glendalough and Glenbeg Lough among others.
International students enrolled in a full-time study program (minimum one year in duration) on a qualification recognized by the Irish Department of Education and Skill do not need a work visa/permit to work in Ireland. During their approved stay, students are allowed to work for 40 hours a week. The revised third level graduate scheme permission allows non-EU/EEA students graduating from a higher education institute in Ireland to remain in Ireland for upto two years for seeking job opportunities.
Overall, with a growing multicultural society and a fast-growing economy, with multiple opportunities opening up in Ireland as a major business hub in Europe after Brexit, Ireland is an amazing place to fulfil your study abroad dreams.
